the breakfast buffet was acceptable, with a decent selection of items.
The bathroom was outdated. Showering in a tub with a clinging plastic curtain reminded me of a relic. also, the lack of a mini-fridge in the room was a real inconvenience. i needed to keep some drinks cold.

room noiseincreased rate
the room was not well-soundproofed. i could hear noise from other rooms and the hallway, disruptive at night. the safe required a key from reception and a deposit. it would have been nice if i was told this at check-in. the room rate increased when i needed to stay a second night due to rain, i felt it was taking advantage.

The hotel's location next to the metro was useful for getting around the city.
The room was noisy due to street traffic I could hear clearly even on a high floor. The bed was two singles pushed together these separated easily. The lack of soundproofing and the uncomfortable bed detracted from my stay. I expected better from this hotel.

the walls seemed thin! i could sometimes hear noise from neighboring rooms.

The location was great. It was easy to walk around. the staff were always friendly and ready to help me. the room was super clean. Dinner and breakfast included fresh food, i appreciated the variety. the agua de valencia in the hotel bar was a treat.
i found the soundproofing to be a little lacking, as i could hear some noise from other rooms. this was a very slight inconvenience though, and did not affect my overall stay.

The surrounding area had numerous beggars. Parking the car required payment. I had to give money to people.
